Essendon Little Athletics Club is proudly run by volunteers. Our committee is made up of dedicated parents and community members who generously give their time to ensure every athlete enjoys a safe, fun and rewarding experience.

From organising competitions and coaching programs to managing registrations, facilities and club events, our committee works behind the scenes to keep ELAC running throughout the year.

Many of our Committee members first became involved simply by helping on a Saturday morning. Like so many of our volunteers, they discovered that giving a little time can make a big difference.

What Does the Committee Do?

The Committee oversees all aspects of the club, including:

• Planning and delivering each athletics season
• Supporting athletes, families and volunteers
• Managing registrations and membership
• Coordinating competitions and coaching
• Maintaining equipment and facilities
• Ensuring a safe and inclusive environment
• Managing the club's finances and governance
• Organising social events and presentations
• Building relationships with sponsors and the local community
