General Meeting Announcement and Nomination Forms
Please note that nominations for all positions are vacant so we encourage
all parents to consider nominating. Position
descriptions are available here so have a read and come on board to
assist us run a successful centre for our children.
Lets try and build on the legacy left by others.
It is
with great regret that I inform all members of the death of one of our
most treasured members, Mr Kevin Timmins.
Kevin had battled melanoma bravely whilst still attending Little Athletics
until Christmas.
Kevin has been a stalwart of the Centre for over 20 yrs. One of the first
to arrive every Saturday and the last to leave, his love of the sport
and the friends he made through the centre kept him involved long after
his daughter Carol ceased to compete as a little athlete.
A truly good man, he will be sorely missed and remembered with love and
affection by all who knew him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Gwen and daughter Carol.

The Essendon Little Athletics Centre are still taking
Registrations for the 2007 - 2008 Track & Field Season.
The Committee of the Essendon Little Athletics Centre welcomes everyone to the 2007 – 2008 Track & Field Season.
Proof of age must be sighted for new members at the time of registering.
Competition starts on Saturday 6th October commencing at 8:00am. Officials are required to be ready at 7:45am to ensure a startup time of 8:00am
Costs involved:-
Registration - $60.00 each for the first two children, and $50.00 each
for each other child.
Track Redevelopment Levy - $15.00 each child.
Weekly Fee - $2.00 per child or $5.00 for a family of three or more children.
Team T’shirt -
Essendon Singlet - $30.00
Adult Membership – 50c per adult
Parents are required to help at least once every 3 weeks.
