On the weekend of the 3rd – 5th July VLAA held Centrefest at Ballarat.
Gwen Timmins from the Essendon Little Athletics Centre proudly accepted the trophy for VLAA Top Centre 2008/2009.

The Top Centre award is the Highest reward for recognition of success at Centre level. The eventual winner of the award is determined based on the results of thorough testing of three main sets of criteria. These are Registration and Affiliation, Association Programs and Events and a Centre Visit.

This is a fantastic result achieved by the centre with all of our volunteers to be congratulated. A great team effort.
